Industrial Designer | IN2 Innovation

Company Background: A multidisciplinary innovation firm that helps companies uncover insights, define opportunities, and bring physical and digital products to market. From research and strategy to industrial design, engineering, UI-UX development, and brand strategy, IN2 builds thoughtful solutions that connect user needs to business goals—and sees them through to execution.

Generation of ideation sketches, CAD models, and concept images, delivering compelling client-facing presentations that effectively conveyed design intentions.

Authorship and implementation of internal best practices strategies to define and enhance the in-house design process, fostering consistency and efficiency across projects.

Assistance in onboarding and mentoring new industrial design hires, providing guidance and support on design processes, expectations, and wider company culture.

Supporting the facilitation of brainstorming workshops, utilizing live sketching to visually communicate ideas and stimulate collaborative discussion among client team members.

Industrial Design Intern | Weyco Group

Company Background: Weyco Group is a leading footwear company known for its portfolio of well-established brands, including Florsheim, Nunn Bush, and Stacy Adams. With a focus on quality craftsmanship and forward-thinking design, the company offers a wide range of stylish and comfortable footwear for various markets.

Collaborated with in-house design teams across the Florsheim, Stacy Adams, and Nunn Bush subsidiary brands to develop footwear concepts for the S/S 2021 and F/W 2021 product line(s). Brought eight shoes to market across two seasons.

Followed an iterative design process, creating loose-to-refined sketches and CAD models, generated production tech packs and communicated with suppliers regarding prototype revisions.

Performed color, material, and trend analysis to define the Fall-Winter 2021 color, material, & finish / visual strategy for the Stacy Adams brand.
